Moishe the Carpenter, returning home with his week's wages, was accosted by an armed robber on a deserted street.

"Take my money," said Moishe, "but do me a favour: shoot a bullet through my hat otherwise my wife won't believe I was robbed."

The robber obliged. He threw Moishe's hat into the air and put a bullet through it.

"Let's make it look as if I ran into a gang of robbers," said Moishe, "otherwise my wife will call me a coward! Please shoot a number of holes through my coat."

So the robber shot a number of holes through the carpenter's coat.

"And now…"

"Sorry," interrupted the robber. "No more holes. I'm out of bullets."

"That's all I wanted to know!" said Moishe. "Now hand me back my money and some more for the hat and coat that you've ruined or I'll beat you black and blue!"

The robber threw down the money and ran.

Moral of the Story: Its never too late to use our brains to get out of a difficult situation!!

After having failed his exam in "Logistics and Organization", a student goes and confronts his lecturer about it.

Student: "Sir, do you really understand anything about the subject?"

Professor: "Surely I must. Otherwise I would not be a professor!"

Student: "Great, well then I would like to ask you a question.

If you can give me the correct answer, I will accept my mark as is and go. If you however do not know the answer, I want you give me an "A" for the exam. "

Professor: "Okay, it's a deal. So what is the question?"

Student: "What is legal, but not logical, logical, but not legal, and neither logical, nor legal?"

Even after some long and hard consideration, the professor cannot give the student an answer, and therefore changes his exam mark into an "A", as agreed.

Afterwards, the professor calls on his best student and asks him the same question.

One student immediately answers: "Sir, you are 63 years old and married to a 35 year old woman, which is legal, but not logical. Your wife has a 25 year old lover, which is logical, but not legal. The fact that you have given your wife's lover an "A", although he really should have failed, is neither legal, nor logical."

मेरा माज़ी, मेरा माज़ी, मेरी तन्हाई का यह अँधा शिगाफ़, ले के सांसो की तरह मेरे साथ चलता रहा. जो मेरी नब्ज़ की मानिंद मेरे साथ जिया, जिसको आते हुए, जाते हुए बेशुमार लम्हें अपनी सुनलाह अंगुलियों से गहरा करते रहे, करते गए. किसी की ओट पा लेने को लहू बहता रहा. किसी को हमनफस कहने की जुस्तजू में रहा. कोई तो हो जो बेशाख्ता इसको पहचाने, तड़प कर पलटे अचानक इसे पुकार उठे. मेरे हमशाख, मेरे हमशाख, मेरी उदासियों के हिस्सेदार, मेरे उधुरेपन के दोस्त, मेरे अकेलेपन. तमाम जख्म जो तेरे है, मेरे दर्द तमाम. तेरी कराह का रिश्ता है मेरी आहों से. तू एक मसज़िदे वीरां है, मै तेरी अजां, अजां जो अपनी ही विरानागियो से टकराकर ढकी छुपी बेवा ज़मी पर पढ़े नमाज़ खुदा जाने किसको सज़दा करे.
